Join in on the fun…

Do you fall somewhere between a roadie and a mountain biker? Do you enjoy long, slow, rambling rides on country roads but want to ditch the spandex? Is your perfect day spent pedaling from historic sights to scenic vistas with a picnic in-between for skinny dipping? If yes, come join the Pathfinders for another season of day rides and overnighters where we can interpret the region’s rich history together.

The Pathfinders are an informal group of cyclists from throughout the region that host group rides between April and November each year. Aside from hosting rides, they also publish interpretive routes for people interested in local history, geography, and sightseeing to do on their own.

Our signature event every year is the Genesee River Challenge – a 140 mile long ride from its headwaters in Pennsylvania northward all the way to its terminus in lake Ontario. Riders are given 36 hours to complete the course, with options for camping along the way for those that would like. For more details and other rides, take a look through the site!
